/April 9th 2017 was nothing short of a spectacle. Bboys/BGirls took the dance floor during #OpenKitchen, SoundBridge demoed their DAW for our audience, emcee Chris Borelli performed & debuted his music video "Accolades," plus our SGFS3 Champ Ellio joined the Judging and kept it real with our panelist. Episode 1 brought out some incredible talent. Panelist included: Too Deep (MA), Doctor Igor (MA), Kel C (NY), Knzo (MA), 16BitSpit (MA), & 1st Official (MA) - The BeatClubPodcast's pick.
The battle remained close until a round of sampling was introduced to the panelist. While some offered a decent approach, nothing compared to the response of the crowd when they heard the sample flips of 16BitSpit & Knzo. From that point on, these two went ahead to solidify their seats in our SGFS4 Cash Prize Finale. Congrats to KNZO & 16BITSPIT!
See you in June Boston.

VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
/VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
The Stew Showcase would like to thank everyone who was in attendance and participated in our Grand Finale yesterday, December 4th, 2016. Furthermore, we would like to be the first to acknowledge an honest mistake that was made in the announcement of our finale winner at this year’s SGFS3. We have since contacted and extended our apologies to each of the mistaken parties, and applaud both persons for their contributions to the show as it remained incredibly close, which led to this mishap. We’ve embraced our faults within this situation, but stand alongside our integrity as we will continue to pride ourselves in being an honest and trustworthy brand.
We have since posted the official judge master sheet for public viewing at: http://www.thestewshowcase.com/leaderboard/
Sincerely,
The Stew Showcase
Open Kitchen - How To Make It On The Panel at #SGFS3
/So you're a beat maker who just found out about The Stew Beat Showcase - Grand Finale: S3 and would like to join the competition. Well, you still have a chance. During the Grand Finale we'll hold an #OpenKitchen (our producer open-mic) where TWO beat-makers will win a wildcard slot on the panel. All you have to do is show up early on December 4th (8PM sharp) and register (in person) for the open kitchen. Please keep these things in mind:
1. The #OpenKitchen is on a 1st come, 1st served basis. That means come as early as possible. There will be limited slots for the Open Kitchen during the Grand Finale.
2. The registration fee for the Open Kitchen is $100 (includes the entry).
3. You MUST have your equipment with you to compete if you earn a slot on the panel via the Open Kitchen. During the main event we have live beat making challenges. No equipment? No competition. (Your laptop, a midi-keyboard, MPC, noise canceling/sound isolating headphones will do)
4. The Open Kitchen occurs before our main event of at 10PM.
5. You will have a 3 minute set to play your beats, rock the crowd & get the vote. Please have your set ready via a MP3 player, mobile device, tablet or laptop. You can choose your beats while in front of the audience to play or have a pre-made set. No elaborate setups needed to JUST play your beats for the Open Kitchen. If you advance from the Open Kitchen that is when you will need your setup to be able to create live.
6. Come with your HEAT! If you rock the crowd, you make it on the panel. If you make it on the panel the first round will be a head to head battle (time beat for beat battle) so make sure you have more than enough bangers available.
